In Chapter 4, Verse 1 of the Bhagavad Geeta, Bhagawan Shree Krishna says:
‘I taught this imperishable Yoga to Vivasvan(Sun-god), Vivasvan told it to Manu; and Manu spoke it to Ikshvaku.’
Bhagavad Geeta Chapter 4, Verse 1
The Creator taught this immortal message at the time of creation and redelivered the Bhagavad Geeta to Arjuna for the benefit of all of mankind on this day, more than five thousand years ago.

Just 1 day left to go before Janmashtami celebrations!
Please take note that Janmashtami will be celebrated over two days at Geeta Ashram Malaysia.
We will be having a full Bhagavad Geeta havan tomorrow, Friday, 23.08.2019 from 9am onwards, followed by lunch!
Our bigger celebration will be on Saturday, 24.08.2019 where we will be having a fun filled carnival as well as our Children’s performances of skits, plays and dances, bhajans and prayers! Click here for more details!

Today on Guru Purnima, we pay reverence to our beloved Guru Maharaj and offer our gratitude to the lineage of teachers who have passed on this ancient wisdom for all of mankind.
Here are some pictures of our celebrations today – we started with a full Bhagavad Geeta Havan (reciting all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Geeta), followed by Hanuman Chalisa and Pad Pooja for Guruji.

Geeta Ashram Malaysia will be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of our Deity Installation (Praan Pratishta). To mark this auspicious event, we will be having a special function on Sunday, 31.03.2019 from 7.30am – 1.00pm.
The programme will first start with a Maha-Abhishegam (ritual bathing of our 4 deities) conducted by 4 different hosts (termed Yajmaans). Following this, will be a Havan whereby 108 chants of each deity will be done. All are invited to participate! More details are on the posters attached below.
