Happy Thaipusam

The Geeta Ashram Youth would like to wish each and everyone a blessed Thaipusam! May Lord Murugan’s blessings be with you always πŸ™‚

We would just like to share a fun fact with all of you 😊

In the Bhagavad Geeta, Chap 10, Vs 24, Bhagawan says:

purodhasam ca mukhyam mam

viddhi partha brhaspatim

senaninam aham skandah

sarasam asmi sagarah

Of priests, O Arjuna, know Me to be the chief, Brhaspati, the lord of devotion. Of generals I am Skanda, the lord of war; and of bodies of water I am the ocean.

Skanda is one of the many names of Lord Murugan πŸ™‚ beautiful, isn’t it?

Happy Thaipusam!
