We, the youth are SO excited to perform for Janamasthmi this year.

We have chosen the theme Krishna – Tumhi Ho Bandhu, My Eternal Friend.

We have 4 skits, and some lovely dances to put up! Here are the details of our Children’s programme:

Rejoice and celebrate in glorifying the Lord with continuous Bhajans, chanting & sangkirtan as we welcome the advent of our beloved Lord on earth.

We start the morning with a Geeta Havan reciting all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Geeta.

In the evening, joining us on this enchanting day, are devotees from various spiritual centres singing mesmerising Bhajans. The centres are:

SAI centre
Sri Radha Govinda Gaudiya Math
Art of Living
SIRD

Followed with the children/youth of our Ashram, presenting beautiful renditions of Shri Krishna’s pastimes in skits and dance performances.

It’s our favourite time of the year – Shri Krishna Janmashtmi!! 🙂

This year, the youth and kids have been working very hard to perform for Lord Krishna’s birthday and we look forward to having all of you there with us!

14.08.2017 is truly auspicious and here’s our programme for the day!

Morning :

9.30a.m. – Sampoorna Geeta Havan
1.00p.m. – Preeti Bhojan (lunch)

Evening :

9.00pm:
– Guru Vandana
– Recitation of 12th Chapter with samput verse (Ch1 Vs 1): “Dharmakshetre Kurukshetre Samaveta….”
– Geeta Aarti

9.40pm:
Children’s / Youths’ Programme (skits & dances)

Bhajans

11.55pm:
Meditation / Chanting

Midnight:
Sri Krishna Aarti & distribution of Prasad / Snacks
