The Geeta Ashram Youth would like to wish each and everyone a blessed Thaipusam! May Lord Murugan’s blessings be with you always 🙂

We would just like to share a fun fact with all of you 😊

In the Bhagavad Geeta, Chap 10, Vs 24, Bhagawan says:

purodhasam ca mukhyam mam

viddhi partha brhaspatim

senaninam aham skandah

sarasam asmi sagarah

Of priests, O Arjuna, know Me to be the chief, Brhaspati, the lord of devotion. Of generals I am Skanda, the lord of war; and of bodies of water I am the ocean.

Skanda is one of the many names of Lord Murugan 🙂 beautiful, isn’t it?

The G.A Youth would like to wish everyone a Blessed Thaipusam!
Just as Lord Muruga vanquished the demon army of Tarakasura, let us all make an effort to vanquish the demons within us (greed, pride, lust, hate etc)! Happy Thaipusam!
