Join us today in celebrating the auspicious Guru Purnima 🙂
We will be having a full Bhagavad Geeta reading today from 10.00 am – 1.00pm followed by pot luck lunch.
Following that, Geeta Ashram will be closed in view of the Lunar Eclipse.
We will be celebrating Guru Purnima on Sunday, 29.07.2018 from 11.00 am – 1.00pm.

Purnima, the day of full moon in the month of Ashadh (June/July) is traditionally celebrated as Guru Purnima. Also known as Vyas Purnima, this day is celebrated in remembrance and veneration to sage Ved Vyas. He is the Adi (Original) Guru of the Hindu Dharma, who classified the Vedas, wrote the eighteen Puranas and the great epic Mahabharat.
In this respect, our program at the Ashram is as follows:-

Morning : 10.00a.m. – to 1.00p.m.
Chanting of 700 verses of the Geeta (Purnima Reading) & Preeti Bhojan (pot luck style)
29.07.2018:
11.00a.m. – Sandhya Aarti followed with Bhajans
11.30a.m. – Guru Vandana
Recitation of Chapter 12 with samput verse (Guru Brahma Guru Vishnur….)
Geeta Aarti
11.55a.m. – “Importance of Guru in our Spiritual Path”
followed by Guru Namaskar / personalized Pooja* conducted by Panditji
1.00p.m. – Final Aarti & Preeti Bhojan
* Dikshits may bring a thali (tray), with flowers and lamp for Aarti along with your offering / Guru Dakshina and pay reverence to our dear Guru Maharaj Ji.
